Day Camp

One of the churches we have been working with has been especially impressed with the work we have been doing, and so invited us to do a session at their camp for the children.

We were asked to do a session on what you give your heart to, and how this can separate us from God.

We started with the river game: using only two pieces of paper, each child must get themselves from one side of the river to the other. They then split in to groups to discuss the game and its relevance to their lives.

After lunch we we got some team games going and the children were able to go in the ‘piscina’.

The best game we played was the spider game – you are only allowed one person through each hole in the web twice, and Β if you touch it spider Alan will eat you.

We finished the day with picking fruit off the trees πŸ™‚
